Woven in Jämsä, two hours north of our studio
Our boiled wool comes from a family mill in Central Finland that has been fulling cloth since 1928. We buy whole runs, so every coat in a colour comes from the same batch.

Care & repair
A good wool coat should last fifteen winters. We repair ours for free for the first two years, and at cost after that.

Caring for wool
Air it, don't wash it. Wool cleans itself. Hang your coat outside or in the bathroom after a shower, then brush it with a soft clothes brush.
Steam, never iron. Steam from the inside to lift creases and relax the fibres.
Pilling is normal. Knitwear pills in the first weeks of wear. Use a wool comb, never a razor.
Store it clean. Moths prefer worn wool. Store knits folded with cedar over summer.
